In the metal surface treatment industry, high-pressure spray cleaning is a critical process for removing oils and debris from workpieces. However, this process is also a "hotspot" for foam problems. When cleaning fluids circulate under the intense shear force of high-pressure pumps and nozzles, stubborn foam can easily accumulate.
This not only causes the cleaning solution to overflow the tank but, more critically, the foam can wrap around the spray pump causing cavitation. This leads to a sudden drop in spray pressure, directly resulting in poorly cleaned parts.

Why Do Generic Defoamers Fail in Spray Lines?
Many factories have tried generic defoamers, only to find them ineffective in high-pressure environments, or worse, they cause side effects:
Poor Shear Resistance: They break down rapidly under high-pressure impact, losing their antifoaming ability almost instantly.
Oil Floating & Residue: The defoamer may separate and float on the surface or stick to the workpieces, creating hard-to-remove oil spots.
Interference with Downstream Processes: Residual silicone or organics can cause serious quality issues in subsequent electroplating, painting, or welding processes, such as fish-eyes or poor adhesion.
Our Solution: Engineered for High-Pressure Environments
Addressing the complex conditions of metal cleaning fluids, we have developed a specialized Metal Cleaning Fluid Defoamer. Unlike standard products, our formulation focuses on solving specific technical challenges:
Excellent High-Shear Resistance
Our defoamers possess superior chemical stability, capable of withstanding the intense mechanical agitation of high-pressure spray systems without breaking emulsion. This ensures lasting foam suppression rather than a temporary fix.
Superior Water Solubility & Dispersion
To prevent surface defects on workpieces, this series disperses rapidly in water. It leaves no oil spots or residue on metal surfaces, ensuring parts are spotless and completely safe for subsequent spraying or plating processes.
Resistance to Strong Acids & Alkalis
Whether used in acidic pickling solutions or strong alkaline degreasers, this defoamer remains active across a wide pH range, making it compatible with various metal cleaning systems.
High Cost-Efficiency
Thanks to highly active ingredients, the recommended dosage is extremely low (typically between 0.005% - 0.05%). This not only lowers the cost per batch but also reduces the chemical load on wastewater treatment.
Applications
This product is widely used in automotive part cleaning, hardware spray washing lines, ultrasonic cleaning tanks, and foam control for various industrial working fluids.
