Among them, oil-based defoaming agents are the most common. There are three common types of oil-based defoaming agents: modified polyether silicone oil defoaming agents, mineral oil defoaming agents, and natural oil-based defoaming agents.

Through the graft modification of hydrophilic polyether, polysiloxane can be given water solubility, so that it has the high and low temperature resistance, spread resistance and emulsification stability of traditional polysiloxane. Therefore, it is widely used in cosmetics and textiles. It has broad application prospects in finishing agents, spinning oils, defoaming agents and other products.

     

    Mineral oil defoaming agents are also an important type of defoaming agent and are widely used in inks, adhesives, coatings, etc. It is characterized by good scalability, no impact on product performance and low cost. Mineral oil defoaming agents use hydrocarbon oils with good spreading properties as carriers. The surface tension is low and can be quickly dispersed in the water phase. At the same time, a certain amount of emulsification is added to the mineral oil defoaming agent. Therefore, compared with other types of defoaming agents, Has good self-dispersion. Mineral oil defoamer is not only cheap and widely used, it can be used as a cheap substitute for more expensive defoamer such as silicone, and can be applied to some occasions where silicone defoamer cannot be applied. For example, in the field of coatings, silicone defoamer often affects the color and ductility of the paint film, while mineral oil defoamer does not.

     

    Natural oil defoaming agents compounded with soybean oil and other ingredients are commonly used in many fields. Soybean oil is a compound composed of fatty acids and glycerin and is widely distributed in nature. It has its shadow in industrial fields such as plastics, lubricants, adhesives, inks, coatings, fuels, solvents and surfactants. The structure of soybean oil is rich in glyceryl ester bonds and double bonds. Among them, fatty acid methyl ester has attracted widespread attention as a substitute for petroleum. Biodiesel has attracted widespread attention. Glyceryl methyl ester is used as a defoaming agent in cutting fluid, papermaking, food and other industries. The addition amount is 2%‰~2%, and it has certain defoaming ability. , which can improve the diffusibility and stability of the product.
